De Montfort University Leicester is a public university in the city of Leicester, England. It is a popular public institution located in Leicester, England. It was founded in 1992 as an organization that awards degrees in compliance with the Further and Higher Education Act. The 13th-century Earl of Leicester, Simon de Montfort, is credited with inspiring the name of De Montfort University. The university is frequently listed as one of the greatest in the United Kingdom. Undergraduate Study
