Schwarzman Scholars Program 2026 – Fully Funded Scholarship

The Schwarzman Scholars Program at Tsinghua University is one of the most elite fully funded Master’s scholarships in the world. It aims to prepare young global leaders through a one-year Master’s degree in Global Affairs. The program brings together exceptional students from around the world to study, engage, and gain leadership training in Beijing.

Eligibility Requirements

Academic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (any field)

  • Final-year students may apply.

Age Requirement

  • Must be 18–28 years old at the time the program begins

English Proficiency

Applicants can meet the English requirement in two ways:

1. Without IELTS (IELTS Waiver)

No English test is required if:

  • You studied for at least two years in an English-medium institution

  • You can provide a Medium of Instruction (MOI) Certificate.

2. With IELTS/TOEFL (if needed)

  • IELTS: Minimum 7.0

  • TOEFL iBT: Minimum 100

The next scholarship cycle for international and U.S. applicants will run:

April 2026 – September 10, 2026

Students applying for the 2027–2028 academic year must submit their applications within this period. After the deadline, selected applicants will be invited for interviews, and final results will be announced at the end of 2026.
