The University of Victoria is a public research university in Oak Bay and Saanich, British Columbia, Canada. McGill University initially affiliated with Victoria College as its affiliated institution in 1903. The college became independent and was named Victoria College in 1915. International students who want to be considered for an international scholarship and are currently enrolled in secondary school must submit an interim transcript to Undergraduate Admissions by March 15. If an applicant has graduated within two years and has yet to attend another post-secondary institution, the admissions committee will consider their application.

International Student Support Award

International undergraduate students commencing or continuing their studies and who have proven to be financially needy are eligible to receive one or more grants, each worth at least $1,000. Student’s enrolled part-time (minimum of 6.0 units) are qualified.

UVic International Women’s Achievement Scholarship

Value: $5,000 | Number: Varies

Academically gifted international students from students enrolled in Margaret’s School in Saanich, British Columbia, may be eligible to receive up to twenty scholarships, each worth $5,000.

If international students transfer from St., the remaining funds may be awarded to UVic from Margaret’s School, as not all twenty scholarships are eligible.

  1. domestic students enrolled in undergraduate programs at St. Margaret’s School in Saanich, British Columbia, or
  2. Foreign female students are enrolling in undergraduate programs at the Faculty of Science or Engineering & Computer Science

Successful candidates will be notified in their full offer letter. Unsuccessful applicants will not be notified.
