In Melbourne, Swinburne University of Technology is a public research institution. Swinburne University of Technology Scholarship 2024 is awarded to foster equity, reward excellence, and create opportunities. It covers the research tuition expenses for a maximum of two years for research master’s students and four years full-time equivalent for doctorate students.

Swinburne International Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship

Depending on your GPA, you may be eligible for a tuition reduction of up to 30% for the length of your study (or equivalent).
To qualify for this scholarship, you must have earned an academic record of at least 60% GPA Australian standard equivalent. Students currently registered in our ELICOS+ program will be prioritized for this grant.

Excluded courses:
One-year honors, bachelor’s degrees in nursing, aviation and piloting, and business (double degree) are unavailable.

Eligibility criteria

  1. Must be an international student (permanent residents of Australia and citizens of New Zealand are not eligible)
  2. Not eligible if having another Swinburne scholarship or reduced price plan.
  3. Meet the requirements for admission in any course or scholarship.
  4. If you get a performance-based scholarship, you must maintain a 75 percent study load. Successful applicants for the university’s top scholarships must continue to meet academic standards. For more details, please refer to your offer letter.

Eligibility

To qualify for the Greig Connell Memorial Scholarship, candidates need to fulfill the essential requirements:

  1. female student
  2. Citizens of Australia or New Zealand, Permanent Residents of Australia, or International Students

Fulfill the following enrollment requirements:

  1. In Semester 1, 2024, be a continuing student at Swinburne in your second or third year.
  2. May have difficulties in personal or financial life, which could have impeded to receive an education
  3. Send a 500-word personal statement outlining your enthusiasm for your field of study.

By March 31, 2024, applicants must complete an online application and send it in with all necessary supporting papers for this Swinburne University of Technology Scholarship 2024.

Ju-Fen Scholarship

This award helps and promotes a second or third-year student majoring in film and television who comes from a multicultural background and has had financial difficulties.

Value   The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for one year only.

  3. Describe talent and passion for film and television.

Provide evidence of diverse cultural backgrounds. This may include:

  1. not born in Australia
  2. parents not born in Australia
  3. English is not the primary language at home
  4. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander
  5. Refugee or Asylum Seeker

How to apply
