Vice Chancellor  Scholarship

Value: £27,000 in value over 3 years.

Including undergraduate to postgraduate, and postgraduate to MBA.

Eligible for the Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship

The Vice Chancellor’s Scholarship is available to new, first-year Home/EU students who meet the following criteria:

  • Applicants must be new, a first-year student on, or have applied for, a full-time BA/BSc/BEd degree for which the maximum allowable fee is charged for Home/EU student
  • Open to applicants based in UK/EU who are not on an NHS/TA-funded course;
  • Applicants must be on or have applied for, a course delivered at the University of Bedfordshire and not at an accredited partner college

Sport Scholarship

Value: 660 GBP – 1660 GBP

Eligible criteria for a Sports Scholarship you must:

Be of a regional, county, national, or international standard or play in BUCS within the last 12 months.

Successfully accepted onto one of the University’s full-time courses or already on a course.

Be a home, EU, or International student.

Be an undergraduate or postgraduate student

Care Leavers Bursary 2022/23

The Care Leavers Bursary is available to all students under the age of 25 at the start of the course. Who is studying in a degree program and paying £9,250 in tuition fees

Foundation Year Bursary

VALUE: £2,000 over 4 academic years.

Scholarships and bursaries are paid in 2 installments per year if the eligibility criteria are met. There is no application process. The scholarship or bursary will be awarded automatically to those meeting the eligibility criteria

Eligibility criteria

  • Be a new entrant student to the University from September 2021 in the academic year 2021/22 who has not previously been enrolled (registered) at the University of Bedfordshire or the University 
  • Be a Home[4] student who will be paying the maximum tuition fee of £9,250

You are not eligible for a scholarship or bursary if you are:

  • An overseas (including EU) or ‘equivalent level qualification’ (ELQ) fee payer
  • Studying with a University partner
  • Deferring study beyond a 2021/22 start date
  • Not in good financial standing with the University
