Entry Requirements Undergraduate

High school:

  1. A minimum final grade of 80% is necessary for the Intermediate Certificate/Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Pre-Medical or Pre-Engineering Stream. This certification is comparable to AS-level, at the department’s discretion (science only).
  2. Two-year Bachelor of Arts/Science/Commerce/Technology (Pass) degree with a minimum final from an institution authorized by HEC. Science degrees are typically of a higher caliber; nevertheless, at the department’s discretion, students from prestigious universities with somewhat lower marks (grade of at least 60% /First-Class/B or a GPA of 3.0/4.0) may be considered.
  3. A minimum final grade of 60%/First-Class/B or a GPA of 3.0/4.0 is required for a three-year Bachelor of Arts, Science, or Commerce (Honours) program from an HEC-accredited school; second-year admittance may be considered at the department’s discretion.

International Baccalaureate: 28 to 30, depending on the course.

Postgraduate

  1. Four-year professional or Bachelor of Arts (Honours) degree from an HEC-accredited school; science degrees are typically seen as being of a better caliber, while students from prestigious universities may be taken into consideration at the department’s discretion with slightly lower grades.
  2. Programs requiring a UK 2:1 require a first-class degree, a minimum of 60%, a B, a GPA of 3.0 or 4.0, or an equivalent.
  3. Programs needing a UK 2:2 require an excellent second-class degree, at least 55%, a B-, or an equivalent GPA of 2.7/4.0.

IELTS Academic: 6.5 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in sub-tests.

TOEFL: 94 (listening: 20, speaking: 20, writing: 24, reading: 19).

PTE: 68 with 62 in each sub-test and 67 in writing

Eligibility

  1. Enroll as a foreign student and pay foreign tuition.
  2. Studying full-time in classes (this grant is unavailable for courses requiring foundation years).
  3. Have been accepted into a program that meets our admission requirements and has enrolled (as of October 2024) in a full-time undergraduate or master’s program.
