Competitive Scholarships

The value of scholarships varies from $500 to $20,000 per academic year. Certain scholarships are renewable throughout the duration of your enrollment at Bishop’s (further terms and conditions apply), while other awards are one-time opportunities available to both new and returning students. All you have to do to be eligible for consideration is to submit your online admissions application by March 1st and all supporting documentation to us by March 15th. After reviewing each application, we will promptly extend scholarship offers.

Awards and Bursaries

The awards and bursaries offered each academic year vary from $800 to $8,000. The majority of these bursaries and awards are primarily given to new students on a one-time basis. All you have to do to be eligible is submit your online applications by March 1st for prizes and bursaries, as well as your online admissions application. After reviewing each applicant’s comprehensive admission dossier, we will promptly issue bursaries and rewards. These awards may take into account leadership, extracurricular activities, and financial necessity in addition to academic merit. In December, the prizes and bursaries form will be accessible.

Students attending Bishop’s University from high school, CEGEP, or an equivalent level educational institution are eligible for undergraduate entrance awards and bursaries. Students can qualify for needs-based scholarships, taking factors other than grades into consideration, or merit-based scholarships, based on their high grades, or receive a combination of both types.
