Buckinghamshire New University is a public university with campuses in Great Missenden, Aylesbury, Uxbridge, and High Wycombe. Originally began as the School of Science and Art in 1893, Buckinghamshire New University is a famous institution for offering a variety of unique degrees, such as the highly regarded Air Transport with Commercial Pilot Training and Police. BUCKS ranks 102nd overall in the Accounting and Finance Ranking for 2021 by The Complete University Guide. It received an 87 grade for 2020. According to the Guardian, the university comes 77th out of 121 universities for 2022 and 39th out of 105 universities in England for teaching quality. About 75% of applicants were accepted in the preceding five years.

Entry Requirements Undergraduate

High school: Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or Standard XII after completing an approved foundation year and earning an overall pass or above.

Postgraduate

We demand that applicants complete a four-year Bachelor’s degree from a UK NARIC-recognized school with an overall pass rate of at least 60%.

English Language Requirements Undergraduate

IELTS: 6.0 total with a minimum of 5.5 in all areas.

TOEFL:80 overall with a minimum of 17 in Listening, 17 in Writing, 20 in Speaking and 18 in reading

 Pearson Test of English: 50 in all areas.

Postgraduate

IELTS: 6.5 total with a minimum of 6.0 in all areas.

TOEFL:88 overall with a minimum of 17 in Listening, 17 in Writing, 20 in Speaking and 18 in reading

Vice Chancellor’s International Student Scholarship

New Students

If you’re an international student paying for your undergraduate studies abroad alone, you might be eligible for a £1,500 scholarship during your first year of study with this university.

If you’re an international student paying for your postgraduate studies abroad alone, you might be eligible for a £3,000 scholarship for your first year of study with us.

You might be eligible for a £5,000 scholarship during your first year of study with this institution if you’re an international student paying for your studies abroad for an LLM in law, an MSc in cyber security, or an International MBA.

The applicant must have an offer from Buckinghamshire New University for a full-time degree program for December 2023, April 2024, or September 2024.

Continuing Students

Should you be an international student who pays for your education abroad and has enrolled at BNU, you might be eligible for a scholarship of up to £5,000.

£1,500 is paid at enrollment, another £1,500 if you advance to level 5 (year 2), and £2,000 if you advance to level 6 (year 3).

Terms and Conditions

1. All applicants paying foreign fees for their first year of study are eligible for a one-time cost reduction of £1,500, £3,000, or £5,000.
2. Self-funding is required of applicants.
3. The length of the study program must be at least a year.
4. A minimum of £15,000 must be charged as tuition.
5. This scholarship cannot be combined with any other Buckinghamshire New University bursary or award.
6. The scholarship for continuing students is divided into three categories: £2,000 for students advancing to level 6 (Year 3), £1,500 for students advancing to level 5 (Year 2), and £1,500 scholarship at enrolment (Level 4-Year 1). New students who began their courses in September 2023, December 2023, April 2024, or September 2024 are eligible.
7. Successful course completion and satisfactory attendance from the previous level of study are prerequisites for the continuing scholarship.
