UTS Grant for Masters by Coursework Students
Overview
This Grant was established to attract commencing international students already in Australia to enrol in a Master by coursework program at UTS in Sydney.

Eligibility
- an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident of Australia)
- Must remain an international student post census date for the session in which they receive the Grant and
- commencing full-time on-campus (Sydney)
- Must meet all admission criteria for the Master by coursework program at UTS and
- have completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Australia, no longer than one year before commencing at UTS, and must be admitted based on this qualification to UTS
- Must not be a recipient of a scholarship, Grant, or the Alumni Advantage Program from UTS
- not a government-sponsored student
- Must not be a student whose course at UTS forms as part of a package offer.

Acceptance of the UTS course offer (including payment of deposit required).
How to apply
UTS International will automatically consider all commencing international students with a completed Bachelor degree or higher qualification from Australia and applying for a Master by coursework program at UTS in Sydney. There is no separate application or documentation in addition to what is required for the coursework application.
Postgraduate Academic Excellence International Scholarship

To attract high achieving commencing international students enrolling in a postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney.

- Must meet all admission criteria for the selected Master by coursework program
- commencing studies at UTS full-time and on campus
Must not:
- be studying a UTS online degree or distance mode degree, or
- have completed academic studies in Australia before commencing at UTS and
- Be a recipient of other scholarships or grants or the Alumni Advantage Program from UTS for the duration of this Scholarship, and government-sponsored student.
Selection process
MBA (C04018) applicants only: Academic merit in the most recently completed tertiary qualification recognised by UTS or the GMAT exam.
Applicants for all other coursework programs other than MBA): Academic merit in the most recently completed tertiary qualification recognised by UTS for entry into the selected UTS Master degree by coursework program.

UTS Vice-Chancellor’s International Postgraduate Coursework Scholarship
Overview
This Scholarship was established to support high achieving commencing international students enrolling in a postgraduate coursework program at UTS in Sydney. The scholarship is to be offered to international students who exhibit the University’s core values and can demonstrate commitment to excellence, innovation, entrepreneurship and social justice.

Eligibility
To be eligible for the Scholarship, an applicant must:
- Be an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen, or permanent resident of Australia) and
- Meet all admission requirements for the selected postgraduate coursework program by the closing date of the scholarship application and
- Commence full-time studies on campus (Sydney). On-campus studies include face-to-face and online (remote) learning applicable to all degrees except online degrees and distance mode degrees.; and
- have completed a Bachelor’s degree, comparable to an Australian Bachelor’s degree, no longer than three (3) years before commencing at UTS and be admitted based on this qualification to UTS; and
- Have an overall average of 90% where the pass mark is 50% or equivalent in a UTS-recognized Bachelor qualification, and
- All applicants must apply using the UTS online Scholarships Application form to be eligible.
Must not:
- be studying a UTS online degree or distance mode degree
- a government-sponsored student
- be a recipient of another UTS scholarship for the duration of this Scholarship
Selection process
The Scholarship will be awarded to the highest ranked applicant on the basis of academic merit in the academic qualification used as a basis for admission into the selected UTS postgraduate coursework program, coupled with the applicant’s response to questions asked in the UTS online scholarship application.
MBA Scholarship for Outstanding Students (Commencing)
Overview
The intention of this Scholarship is to attract high achieving postgraduate students to the UTS Master of Business Administration (MBA) program.

Eligibility
- Must have completed a UTS recognised degree and met the UTS MBA entry requirements; and
- Must be commencing the UTS Master of Business Administration (MBA) program (course code C04018) in the session immediately following the Scholarship selection; and
- Be enrolled or intend to enrol in a minimum of 12cp in the session the scholarship is awarded, in the above course
- Have achieved a minimum academic achievement of Distinction average (75%) in their qualification used as a basis for admission to the MBA.
Selection process
The recipient will be selected on the basis of:
- Academic merit in the academic qualification used as basis of admission into the UTS Master of Business Administration degree
- Reasons for choosing to study MBA at UTS, as demonstrated in the scholarship application
- Your personal aspirations present and future, as demonstrated in the scholarship application
Leadership skills and community involvement, as demonstrated in the scholarship application
