In Guelph, Ontario, Canada, there is a large public research institution called the University of Guelph. Following the merger of Ontario Agricultural College, it was founded in 1964. According to the QS World University survey rankings, the University of Guelph is among the top 20 universities in Canada and in the top 600 worldwide. The Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) of the University of Guelph came in sixth overall and first in Canada in the 2022 World University Rankings by Subject for the third consecutive year. Normally, the minimum requirement for admission to a master’s program is successful completion of an undergraduate degree/ baccalaureate, in an honours program or the equivalent, from a recognized university, Minimum B- average

English Language Requirements

IELTS: Minimum overall score of 6.5 with no band less than 6.
TOEFL: minimum total score of 89 with no individual scaled score less than 21.
Pearson Test of English (PTE): Minimum overall score of 60 and no score less than 60 for any individual component.

Application Fee

A non-refundable application processing fee of $90 Canadian dollars must be submitted with the University of Guelph application form.

Application deadline for international high school applicants studying outside of Canada.
Applications received after this deadline will be processed on a rolling basis. However, we cannot guarantee space in programs.

June 15
Deadline for international fee-paying students to submit their $1,000 CAD tuition deposit.

Living cost
