A satellite campus of Heriot-Watt University, located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is called Heriot-Watt University Dubai Campus. PTE Academic: 54 with a minimum of 51 in each component

IELTS: Overall score of 6.5 with no score lower and 6.0
TOEFL: 90 including reading 21, listening 21, speaking 21, and writing 25
PTE: 60 overall with a minimum of 58 in each component

Intakes

All of our programs have an intake in September, but some programs also offer an additional intake in January.
Most students apply 6–10 months in advance of their chosen intake. We can accept applications up until 3 weeks before the start of each intake

Application fee

You will be asked to pay an application processing fee of AED 300 for each application form you submit.

Heriot-Watt University Scholarship

Sports and Community Engagement Scholarship

A scholarship of up to 30% of the tuition fee for up to 30 students will be offered to students who have excelled in any sport, community engagement activities, or extracurricular activities at the national or international level.

This scholarship will be open to applicants for any of the foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

Students who are awarded this scholarship are expected to engage in their chosen sport, community engagement, or extracurricular activities at the University’s events.

Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

The scholarship offered will be calculated on the net tuition fee of the first year after deducting any other scholarships or discounts that the student may have received.

The scholarship offered is guaranteed and will be spread equally over the duration of the degree

The scholarship offered will be distributed equally across the instalment payments made by the student per year.

All decisions regarding scholarships and year of entry are at the discretion of the academic head after evaluating scores of individual relevant subjects and English language requirements.

Recipients must maintain a minimum C grade in all courses each academic year at Heriot-Watt University Dubai to retain the award.

DEP Merit Scholarship

Applicable to all Degree Entry Programmes (except Advanced DEP)

The scholarship offered is guaranteed and will be spread equally over the duration of the Degree Entry Programme and Undergraduate Honours degree programme.

The scholarship offered will be distributed equally across the instalment payments made by the student per year.

All decisions regarding scholarships and year of entry are at the discretion of the academic head or regional recruitment director after evaluating scores of individual relevant subjects and English language requirements.

Recipients must maintain a minimum C grade in all courses each academic year at Heriot-Watt University Dubai to retain the award.
